In the photo above is our head office building. One of our places to work. This year it means so much to us – that we can continue to go to work, although in a antibac-and-social-distancing-way. At the moment most of Focus Group’s staff still have the option to go to the office to work. Being Qingdao, China or Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam or Tønsberg, Norway. Oh, yes – it can be confusing sometimes. Jørgen almost put antibac in his coffee mug out of sheer habit of going to the antibac machine. Christer is still using his broken cup without a handle. Frank is still teasing him for it. Yes, we are ready for the holidays! But, let’s be a bit serious for a moment. This year our thoughts go to those who cannot enjoy the companionship of your colleagues. Not to mention those who no longer have colleagues at all! Please take good care of each other – family – friends – colleagues and ex-colleagues. It has been a different year for everyone. And this year has been the first year for Focus Group. It’s goofy to say that we have been FOCUSing on work. But we have. In our office building. And great things have happened during 2020; Focus Engineering in Qingdao have moved into new office premises, Focus Construction had their largest fabrication of seawater cleaning filters in Vietnam. Focus Engineering won – and are still working on our largest engineering project so far. Busy, but we love it. Keeps us FOCUSed on work and not on the pandemic. It looks like the world will move forward again, and that we still have a place in it. To Focus Engineering, Focus Construction and Focus Cable Equipment Clients and friends; Let the fish in the Aquatraz fishcage swim, let the fish-lice rest in the hydrolicer filter – let the weight of the steel be light and the pipes be laid out without stress – just for a little while.
